Always liked GIF and still use it for scanned documents and B&W stuff. Also was great for use with some really old game stuff due to the transparency. A page full of animated GIFs? Nah, especially once they got huge because folks were converting vid*snip*

Back when sites like this were fairly common, FireFox provided a way to block animated images, as did Opera. Once people started blocking them, animated GIFs all but disappeared from web design and they were frowned upon.

@rychan I tried their upscaler with a couple of pictures I took on my phone. It does a fabulous job, too. Their erase background tool looks hugely handy, as well. This was the only watermark remover I could find that was actually free, and it works aut*snip*

It was $606 when I bought it almost 2 years ago. Been thrilled with it, the Zenbook I had previously bought for the same role, apparently has a known thermal defect with the GPU and they are time bombs, so I bought this to use instead and use the Zenbook *snip*
