Ok when i typed that simple first example listing1.1 I dont see the display hello world! on m y screen, i see something like Less than second disappear , is that whats supposed to happen? i have Windows Vista

Ok here is what the story is, the damn BorlandC++Builder CD did NOT work on my Vista Windows, so i got DEv++, but trying to follow the instructions of the C++24Hours, on the DevC++ did not work, got lost in all the project/file, saving/ opening, new. etc. *snip*

Yea i just got DEvC++ , and i typed in the first thing, HelloWorld.. cant get it to work Damnn. u clikc on "compile and run"..?? dont even know all the error mssges, were, and dont they even show up anymore.. all confused, talk about learning progamming on*snip*

HELLO. OK, i have the same problems, I just boutht that damn book C++ in 24 hours , and the CD for C++Builder borland, is getting STuck in the INstalling , step, and i do have Vista. . I lost the thread as wha the solution to this problem is , Thanks again*snip*
