Well, guess it had to happen eventually! Now to hope + pray that there's nothing on that drive.. .. I don't think there's anything important there, though. It's my XP Drive, (Hence the Vista logo!!) and currently holds a big bunch of old TV Series that I was eventually going to shove onto DVDs. .. Guess I ain't doing that, now! Still, give a format and I'll have a nice new chunk of HD Space. Unless it's a fooked drive, in which case, I won't be buying any X360 games any time soon!!! |

The fact that my Hard Drive has corrupt, and I have to start all over again is nothing.. The fact that I'm currently in FUCKING VISTA is really really annoying..

I did do that.. It still seems to randomly pick and choose it's own stuff, though, depending on the directory... .. And I turned off "Remember each directory's settings"

I'm starting to like Vista too. But I'm a XPer. 2 things: external hard drives and especially flash drives. I have a 4 giger, and two 2 gigers. Comes in real handy and on for the go too. And at the internet cafe. |

I'm not usually fussed about having external stuff.. My Vista drive usually acts as my 2nd HD, so everything useful's stuck on there.. If XP goes, meh.. It can go back again (hopefully!!) But.. Right now.. Everything's sat on one single drive. OMG!! ARGHH!!

Thank f'k for that! OK, everything's up and running again. Due to BlitzMax working in entirely different ways, graphically, in Vista.. I've (dum-dum-durrr) decided to leave Vista on... As the main OS!! (ARGH!) I might hate it, but.. Hell, I use the downstairs PC most often anyway, so.. I can continue to avoid it  Meanwhile I got all my share folders up and running, and thankfully I'm still able to do all the compiling of DS stuff. I was worried that having Vista there might've completely borked that up. .. Thankfully the other PC can nab it's files and compile away So it's all good. .. You know.. Aside from the "Avoid ever using the main PC lest it annoy the crap out of me" element.
