Scroogle

Google anonymizer

https://scroogle.org/
This site (from same authors) explains (with lots of bile) in which ways Google gains too much power and how can it be opposed. One suggestion is to use Scroogle scraper to anonymize Google searches.

An interesting read, but it's far too extreme. "Send a message using gmail and you're gonna be convicted by the FBI!" Google has a lot of power, which is scary. Based on the poll we had the other day, 17/17 members here prefer Google as a search engine. That's a crazy figure! Switching to another search engine won't make things better, so I'll continue to use Google. Scroogle? Meh. Not worth the trouble.

I'm sure there's hundreds of bits of info, on google, that you could find on me. But then, there is on every search engine, just as there is on my pc, and even moreso on my facebook account. Either you end up going insane over your privacy, or you get off this great big information super highway thingy, and cower for all it's worth!
