it has be revealed unto the Spartan Soldier:

that the Hydra will be out this weekned...maybe this coming Friday. It will be sold and distributed by Parallax, and then eventually on Andre Lamothe Xgamestation site.

It will retail for $249.00. So, its around the same price of the Nintendo Wii. The whole complete package is included for $249.00
The book 'Game Programming with the Propeller Powered Hydra' will also go on sale separately as well. It will retail $60.00...all 900 pages too.
Hopefully, the propeller OS will be included in the complete package.
Accessories for the Hydra computer will be on sale too.

Andre Lamother has stated that press releases for the Hydra will be up starting tomorrow.
And also a separate Hydra forum will open over at the Xgamestation site next week.

you're all invited, of course, to check it out for yourselves.

stealthspc,

hey, I hear ya and know what you mean. true. The Hydra may turn out to be my major and early Christmas present.
My brothers Mark and Wes already know about, and my sister sorta understands it. I'm now just telling my mom about it.
Yet, if the Hydra turns out not to be my major, early Christmas present....then, I'll take out and swipe my plastic.

agent smith,

thank you for the link to further information on Mikes' propeller OS. I'll have to check this out more.
The Hydra kit is the same price...excepting shipping and handling??...as the Nintendo Wii. Yet, I do understand and follow the comparitive prices of both products and also our income levels to purchase the different one-to-one products and our monetary generating capacities.

yet, also everybody

I'm still going to work on my 3d graphics and animation and in Blitz3d too. But, it will be less as well as secondary to the Hydra.
Right now and on my terrain program, I have a static white-colored meshed cartoon cat out in the grassy terrain field.
For some weird reason: I want to color this kitty kat red or blue. And also have kitty rotate and do a spin dance acoss the field....back and forth.

cheers,
