Socoder -> Off Topic -> Antivirus False Positives

AV Bullshit

I found a program that looks awesome and exactly what I need:

https://whizfolders.com/

Unfortunately, this is on the purchase page:

WhizFolders is no longer available for purchase to new customers
We are facing problems due to certain Anti-virus software products that give false alarm (false positive) on WhizFolders and sometimes even delete the program. These problems are painful and beyond our control hence the decision to withdraw.

I have said for years, false positives have all but killed indie development. Saddens me to see a small business who has made an awesome looking program and because of the headache of dealing with false positives, they have simply given up.

@Kuron What tasks were you hoping to accomplish with Whizfolder? We might know of a program that could take it's place.

I've had to download my own old projects in the past from socoder (good job I upload them sometimes) And on multipl occasions have had the file deleted with a message along the lines of "Not many people have downloaded this file therefore it must be a virus riddled malware and has been deleted for your protection" Then I have to redownload and specifically tell the AV and even Chrome in some cases that I don't care and allow me to keep the file.

Check out my excellent homepage!

I'm using KeyNote and this is my app launcher: Minipad2
(for minipad2 use the softpedia download link, as the main site is down)

I use All My Notes, but it can be a tad quirky. I have tried Cherry Tree many times over the years, but I do not seem to get along with it. Tree Notebook is very nice and the lovely Russian gal behind it, even fixed a bug that was causing some issues for me, and me only. WhizFolders just looked a bit nicer than all of the above, IMHO.
