Yeah, that gpu does very little; all the video memory is held in ram. Thats why its good to have a decent bus rate. Is the 900 model the one with the big screen?

Yup, it has a 9" screen at a higher resolution. One thing I don't like is that it looks like you can't change the resolution in Xandros. I did want to lower it for when I play Mega Drive games.

Nice, the 7" screen is the main thing that I don't like with my version, along with the unresponsive keyboard. I'm running eeexubuntu and theres no problem changing the resolution, only there seems to be problems with the scaling filters in emulators. On all the ones I have tried they seem to cripple the framerate. I can still run gens fine in fullscreen, only it ends using up only about 1/2 the screen space. I havent tried changing the res to 640*480 tho; i might give that a try.

I have a 320 gig harddrive, and I'm only using 75 gigs. I don't buy that much...

Mike, I'm using dgen for mega drive games. You can give it a resolution, which is horriffically slow, but you can also just tell it to scale both directions by an amount which on mine runs at over 40fps. I just wish I could disable the sound so I could play my music whilst playing.

"They originally shipped with only Vista! I'd imagine XP runs a bit better"

?!?

I understood they originally ran Xandros OS?
That's what mine is running, apparently."

Ah, my bad, apparently the Vista model was what was initially promised but not yet delivered. Many things were cut out of the initial showoff model, and the price was raised, too.
