What did you get done this week.
  • Swore

    Did everything turn out as planned?
    Did it fudge.
    My boss's main PC fried last weekend. PSU + Motherboard went. Bad shit!
    So, he got a new laptop, and I was the designated "installer of everything"
    Took a while to find a desktop publisher, since he'd previously been using some really old DTP software from, probably the 70s!
    In the end, he reluctantly switched to something a little more modern. Serif PagePlus now has a freebie edition, btw!

    Then on Friday, my PC bluescreened after a fucked up Windows Update, and was so screwed I couldn't even do a Windows Restore Point thingumy.
    FFS!!!
    So then I swore some more, gave up trying to do the morning's newsletter, gave up attempting AGAW, and spent the whole damn weekend doing the exact same smegging thing I'd been doing all fecking week.

  • Finished and tested my first full iDevice game
  • Uploaded to AppStore
  • Fixed a mate's laptop. [shudder] Vista [/shudder].

    Uploading caused no end of time wasting and internet searching for solutions to problems that shouldn't exist. Apple I fecking hate you. What should have taken seconds took hours.

    Did everything turn out as planned?
    Well, work got kind of late, though not as late as sometimes last year. Coding with L.in.oleum is alright, progressing through into some more complex programs. Modifying my site was a hit and miss, trying to get a look that wasn't so minimalistic, but not bloated by my standards. It eventually came to links on the right side, news bar in a section to the left.

    Modifying CSS is a bit difficult. Got some graphics done, but I left it in my Linux partition. So I guess I'll show the world later how it's going...
