hyrule,

what brand or model of laptop
are you getting?
Will you use the vicious Vista
or install and use XP?
How much will it cost?
What is your price range?

cheers,

I have battlefield 2, which is slow as hell online and i would only asume that 2142 would be even slower. plus i think they just went to far makeing another battlefield game, thats just me though. so in answer to your question, no. however halflife2 deathmatch is a whole diffrent story!

hyrule,

I'll check into this brand and other models too.

I think I'll want one too. A few reasons being is
that I always had those bulky Desktops. And hey,
those slimlines from HP look cool and also
the server boxes from neoware are small and slim too.

here is a link:

www.neoware.com/

Also, I'll be on the go a lot with my family,
vacation and a few other things. Like to take the Laptop
or Notebook Pc with me too.
And besides, I have used my brothers a few times. I don't
like the little mouse pointer but he has an external mouse hooked up. And I just like to own and use one too.
Also, my brother works at a law firm. Maybe he can get
me a discount...hopefully

I used to play Battlefield 2, until I moved to university where I cannot play it. I probably gonna start playing it agian in a few months when I get my own place, I'd like to get Battlefield 2142 too, but I have too much work and too many games I want to play.

I hear ya Diablo,

about having too much work
and I have too many game to play.

And along with my XBOX, these games
are in my closet collecting dust.
I'm more into programming with Python
as well as I await for Cobra 3d, Nuclear Basic
and especailly the XGS 2.
Yet, shhhh.....shhhh on me as
I said enough about the XGS 2.

cheers

If I remember correctly, Battlefield 2142 monitors your browsing habits. It's because they want show ads inside the game based on which sites you visit.

actually not really... they don't really have enough advertisers to use the system and the only ads anybody gets are Intel or the default 2142 ones.

mousey, i have found that dell gives you the most band for your buck but their laptops get bulky once you leave the tiny latitudes.

i want a good mix of power and mobility, so i went with an inspiron and the upgraded battery.

i hate HP's new design with the mouse pad all the way to the left, it would great if i was left handed but i am not. or if the offered it on the right hand side or the left hand side
