LOL

I was just about to say I thought he had gone a while ago, that's what I get for jumping on facebook posts without giving my brain a shake first.

With a memory like this, that has got to be brain rot.

It turns out I'm not the only one that got duped, I owe my mate a dry-slap when I see him.

Is there anything on tv nowadays that can inspire kids to be artistic the way some of the old shows did? I used to love 'Take Hart'/'Hart Beat' and later 'Art Attack' - even the crap stuff was watchable, purely because of the presenters. 'Why Don't You' was also a good source of artistic inspiration. Blue Peter too, to a limited degree, I suppose.

What have kids got nowadays? Is it all pretty much YouTube and nowt else?

Yeah, kids TV used to be much more "productive" based.. Although, if I'm honest, I don't watch a lot of kids TV, nowadays!!
Given how many channels there are, though, there's bound to be something..
.. right!?

If not, then, yeah YouTube does fine. Mary Doodles is one of my current favourites.

I used to like Rolf's Cartoon Club, and recent happenings have now left a scar on my childhood. Do I get any points for posting this without swearing?

Rolf's Cartoon Club was indeed great. You can't put the guy down for being a bad presenter - everything he did (on tv) was incredibly watchable. It's only his personal life that is problematic - and it's best not to open THAT can of worms!

No, I'm in the same boat, and deleted my "rolf's cartoon club" reference before posting..
Kinda pisses me off that I can no longer safely say that it was one of my favourite shows...
