#159 - The Children's Challenge

Time to get the kids involved!

The Challenge

If there's kids in the house, let them have a go at illustrating you game!
Maybe they'll draw in Paint!
Maybe they'll doodle, ready for your scanner!

Perhaps you've got some old pictures you drew at school!

If not, you'll just have to draw things yourself!!

(Or use Google!)

The Time

Wed 9th July -> 16th July, 2008
You have until this timer hits zero to complete your entry. For the record, that's Tue/Wed, midnight GMT.

The Rules

You're free to reuse functions here and there, if it helps speed up your dev-time. Old art and audio, are pretty much expected, since we don't all have time to create fully working masterpieces within the space of a week!

Other than that, the main coding for each week's task should be pretty much created within the time allocated.

If you use other people's art/sound/functions, give credit where credit's due.
To enter, post your game below. If you can't find anywhere decent to host it, send it to Jayenkai@Gmail.com

Additional rules are available here.

Last Week

Last week, everyone obsessed over a few fireworks and a sinewave effect!

I'm slightly misunderstanding you.

Do you mean to let the kids draw the images and then make a game from that or, use old images and and make a game from that or, make a game that makes some images?

He means make a game from images drawn by a child...whether your kids or YOURS as a kid....

basically the graphics being children drawn. And the game children oriented....

I would do it but my kids are with their dad this week and went to the mountains today for a couple of days...
