Stealth	Merging is tricky business. If I had the time and thought it would actually be used I would do it, but it's not worth the effort. One thing that page does do is highlight new posts. If you load it and refresh it they all turn gray. Whenever a new post appears it's highlighted in blue. -=-=- Quit posting and try Google.

JL235	Two suggestions to solve the front page chat conversation thing. First a 'new conversation' check button where when checked a faded bar will appear underneath your entry. This is the idea that what you are posting has nothing to do with what is below. The second idea would be to have multiple colour buttons (i.e. clear, red, green, blue and yellow). When you post you can click on a colour and your post will appear with that background. By convention anyone responding will pick the same colour. This allows a user to respond to a comment made several posts before. Anyone posting something new and unrelated to the current content would pick a colour which has not been recently used. A quick mockup of what I mean in Excel:
