New Campfire Project
Everybody likes a FPS game, so I thought I'd start one up for the campfire! I have started with a very basic FPS demo - lets see where we can take it.

Added momentum to movement, slightly better texture and a light just for orientation for the moment. Might do more later
I like this campfire idea

thank you for sharing and for the help as well.
Serious, thank you.
I will take a good look at it.
And I like this idea too.

|Hey Golix, I like your green walls. Nice effect. Perhaps we could build a square-based map system? Wouldn't be too difficult. Just build a 2D array determining which squares are to be filled. Then build quads for all the walls. If there's an open space on a given wall, don't make a quad there! |

|Great idea !|
I had a go, basically you draw a map picture at the start then press space to make it
Also added skybox and sun.
The only problem is some strange light leaks...
I think it's because all the polygons/triangles have their own vertices, none of them actually join onto each others vertices :o .
I'm pretty new to building models in code, I tried a few things but cant find an efficient method of joining all the vertices.
