Is this for real, or is it just horseshit?

Every year or so, Apple upgrade XCode so much that it raises the "how things compile" bar. This week, for example, they're sending emails to devs to warn that only 64bit apps are going to be accepted in the future.

If these devs have found a way around it, i assume via the "precomoiled exe, your code runs as a script" method, the whole base will need to be recompiled, and you'll be forever faffing around, in the hopes of getting through Apple Review.

If you REALLY want to iOS dev, a simple MacMini will do everything you need. £400 plus £100 license plus £200 iPod Touch. That's your budget.
You're going to need a game good enough to make that back, or it's a risk.

Choose wisely!

I will be getting a Mac eventually and possibly an iPad. Debating on whether to save for that straight after paying the new year's bills and TV license, or get an OUYA first and worry about Apple stuffs later.
