I've decided that Amiga games should be one per month. That seems enough, right?!
So, I won't be tackling another Amiga game until the end of next month.
That gives me a few weeks to fiddle about with the environment a bit more, making it a little more functional, and maybe even figuring out why those Compact Flash cards aren't working right.
Grrr.

Jay, I don't think even top software houses did one every six months.

One a year is still 1000% more than my output...

Random decision to start on these, tonight..
Oh boy!!!

I think it took about 5 hours to do that one right-hand "pile" of disks.
Not sure when I'll bother doing the next two piles.
.. oh my god, that took too long!!!

Tomorrow, I'll extract all the contents and have a hunt for anything amusing!

I'm trying my best, but some of the disks are grinding like crazy in the drive, and the .adf tool is crapping out quite a bit.
Slightly worried the drive might not survive all three big piles.

Good luck! Sounds like you're going to need it!

I remember the disk drive crunching sounds on failed/failing disks from BITD. Not nice!

FYI : My ADF tool of choice is ADF-Blitzer
It managed to extract a downloaded .adf of Trex Warrior perfectly, even with it being an NDOS disk, unlike TransADF, which only seems to work with AmigaDOS formatted disks.

.. Also it's written in Blitz, so that's nice!

Decades later, the Amiga's freeform filenames continue to baffle poor Windows.
