Alan Steel

His real name was Sergio Ciani of Italy. He became a well know and respected bodybuilder in Italy and then the whole world for his time. A lot of the bodybuilding in the sixties and seventies was centered in New York and mostly abundant in California at that time.

The reason for the mentioning of Alan Steel. About a week ago I saw some him in a low budge Swords and Sandal movie called "Hercules versus the Moon Men".

I have seen this low buddge Hercules a few times before.
My latest was it appeared as an episode on Mystery Science Theater 3000. On the show, Joel, Crow and Tom Servo made it more interesting and funny.

Here is a clip of Alan Steel in Hercules versus the Masked Rider. What a name? Excuse the bad film prints and editing...its pretty old to date. Also, the now very slow load times for You Tube clips. They used to be faster.

so getting down to the point, I started to admire Hercules and as acted and expressed by Alan Steel. I was inspired so much and I admire his muscular strength and endurance that I have decided to get back into bodybuilding.
But!, not bodybuilding for the usual muscular strength. But more so for muscular endurance and then some muscular strength.

In time, perhaps I'll be the son of Alan Steel.
