Breakpoint stopping after 8 years

One of the demoscenes biggest parties calling it quits
Breakpoint, One of the demoscenes biggest summits, appears to be calling it quits this year. Their Easter weekend event was the final party they planned to hold, ever. It was held in Bingen am Rhein, Germany. Why are they calling it quits? "We are very old" - I guess life catches up to us all at some point or another. Still hate to see it go... I attended Breakpoint '05 and it was one of the best experiences of my life.

 		Mind-blowing. The demo scene has always astounded me -- some extremely talented programmers end up there. It's a shame thy're are retiring, but I suppose fresh blood will replace them.

 		It's a meetup, methinks, not a group. But, yes, it's a shame to see it go.
I guess after 8 years, though, a whole lot can happen. Folk move on, and they all get a little older.

I'm sure there are hundreds more excuses, per year, to meet up, show off your 1337_(0D3_5k1775 and have a good old knees up. They'll manage with one less reason!
