Prodding at 2D again

I've been helping a friend update an old game he was working on in MMF. I don't have a problem with MMF but i personally hate it, so i thought i'd try my hand at making a quick framework for him to play around with since he just bought Blitzmax (After raging over, well, MMF)

Here's what 2 weeks of simply poking at it for an hour a day has accomplished:

Most of it is just managers so far. I have:
-Character Manager, for anything with AI
-Light manager, as seen in the screen shot that cast shadows
-Sprite / Drawing manager that handle automatic animation and other effects. Woo!

I'm rather bad at OOP but i'm enjoying how dynamic this little experiment is turning out to be.

Cool i would be interested to see how you did the lights/shadows as im doing a 2D RPG in cobra. Just the technique would be good for now i can translate to cobra later

Cheers
