Destiny has Decreed...

yes,

Destiny and my fate. The Norn Fates keep spinning the fabrics of fate, weave the wheels of wonder, and spin the threads of time...both good and bad.

Case in point:

yesterday, my brother came and picked me up to go to the show with him. I brought that cd with me of those local Bay Area bands. Songs such as 'One Pill' by NYA JADE, 'Is It Alright' by the LoveMakers, and also the song 'Dripping Springs, Tx' by Pollo Del Mar.
To my astonishment and a semi-shock came upon me, when I opened the case and found no cd in there.

Whoa and dang!!! I really liked and wanted Mark to hear these songs. So for a few minutes I searched my room and also backtracked outside and then inside to find it.
I don't know what happened!! Yikes!! I must've lost it or misplaced it. Or it could've fell out of the case and somebody found it. I even could've put it in another case but thinking I placed it back in the original case.
But...but I remember putting it back in the original case.
whoa!! Talk about materializations and teleportations??

I told Mark about the songs and sang some lines and phrases from the 'One Pill' by NYA JADE. He thought it was cool. He told me that maybe next time he could hear these songs if and when I find the dang cd. Or even buy a new one.

However, the Fates decided it wasn't the right time and moment to have my brother listen to these songs. Cause Mark brought up on his cd player in his car some songs of John Cougar Mellencamp. These songs are so cool.
Also, he played this one rap song for me. I don't like rap but this song was a combination of pop rock and rap. I forgot the name of the song and the singer...sorry
But the singer talked about school and shootings in the school such as Columbine and other schools....and from a perspective of being the narrator and a student and also being victims who both died and some of those who survived. It had a good rock melody and with good lyrics.
You should listen to it. This song is a good example of what rap should be. true.

um...I'll ask Mark what the song is called and also the singer too.

cheers,

I did find and downloaded both 'One Pill' and also the song 'Is It Alright'

yes, its alright and cool.
I'll still buy the whole cd later too.

cheers to all,

I think the rap/pop song was by POD. They have a song called, "Youth of the Nation" which sounds exactly like what you're describing.
