-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Print -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- ; Hello World Saturday : 11:35am I've finally managed to figure out what was causing the OUYA version of my recent game to crash when starting a level. After ludicrous numbers of tests, I'd narrowed it down to an array out-of-range issue, but hunting through my usual "grid[ID]" stuff was failing to turn up any kinds of issues. I hunted and scowered my code, desperate to track down the bug.. Then I remembered that GLFW target has a Debug mode. Yes.. I'd completely forgotten about that!! One quick test, and the bug became immediately apparent. It wasn't the grid[] array, after all. It was the Trail[] array, for holding the silly SpikeDislike style ball trail, which I'd added in at the last minute. D'oh! Should've known... A quick fix later, and the game was once again running silkily smooth on OUYA. It's a fun little game, and it oughta keep High-Score-Gamers happy enough. .. And THEN, I remembered I had to post a Newsletter, this morning!
