Changed my number in online banking... what a bloody carry on that was... I even had to confirm the year I got a mortgage with the bank... FROM 10 YEARS AGO!!!! Just to change a phone number!

Pain in the arse, sure, but better to be safe.

I find it somewhat shocking, however, that if you do online spending, most of the time you only need the details written on the bank card.

Had my bank card blocked 3 or 4 times now for suspected fraud, which was actually me. Happened to the missus once when she was trying to pay in fucking Asda!

I'm all for security but fuck me... they could be a bit less obsessive about it.
