     ; Hello all

With the new polls kicking in, I was going to add a
"This week's Polls" section to the newsletter, this
week. Unfortunately, I forgot that I was supposed
to be updating the "Previous Polls" display function
and as a result, it's still only showing two options
          per poll.
          D'oh!

          Maybe next week!

Read Post$

; How much would you pay for a game?
One of those lunatic "Collector" folk has payed a
whopping $17,500 for an NES game.
Is the game really worth that much?
Would anyone seriously pay that much!!?

     ; Recipes!
For all the lazy coders out there, here's some cheap
and quick recipes to keep you filled during those
          long long coding sessions.
DD once suggested this as a feature to be added to
the Newsletter. If folk are interested, start
          sending them in!

     ; New PC!?
It's one of those topics we see re-appear every few
months. DD's got money to spend, but doesn't know
what PC to go for. Go help him out!

Repeat : Until GameOver

     ; Raining Bombs (Jayenkai)
Take the regular Tanks game, where two tanks throw
bombs at each other, and replace the hills with
          Skyscrapers. It's a simple game!
     socoder.net/?showcase=19407

     ; Papercraft Maker DEMO (Realtime)
Realtime's busying away making a program that inputs
a 3D model, and outputs a nice papercraft origami
sheet, for you to build your own.
I haven't a clue how that all works, but it's pretty
          darn cool if it does!

Goto Links

     ; Solitaire (Jayenkai)
Everyone's played Solitaire to death, so there's
probably no point in trying this.
But, a "Better Than MS" Solitaire game, with 40
different versions of Solitaire. That's great!
It's even better that the entire thing is written
in Javascript, and is running inside your browser!
If you want an example of GoogleOS's possibilities,
it really doesn't get much better than this!

; Sim3 Pirates are only getting a Demo (Jayenkai)
EA have gone on record as suggesting that, because
the major Online parts of Sims3 are inaccessible to
the pirates, that they're only really getting a sort
of demo, of the whole thing. So, apparently EA
          don't mind!
