I've been looking for a decent walk-GPS app for a while, and stumbled upon "Map My Dog Walk". One of the many "Map My" apps, but sponsored by Subaru, so is nice and free as long as you ignore the Subaru references.

Open the app, tell it to track you, go for a walk/run/cycle/whatever, and tap to tell it when you're done.

What I wasn't expecting was...

Without telling it, the app found my Pebble and hooked into it, replacing the watchface with a walk distance/time display.
Regular Pebble functionality continued in the background, and I'm able to pause/resume the walk tracking on the phone, directly from the watch.
Kickass!!

I love when apps do things like that.

Nice looking UI on a watch, cool but still a little outa my price bracket.

Happy coding!
