So,

I just enrolled on an online course for Raspberry Pi II. Thing is, I already have a Warp13 PIC programmer and a 32 bit microcontroller programming device.

I might have some time with the kids in the first week of their holidays - would they thank me for doing a bit of raspberry pi coding or no....

My 8yo is always asking me to show her how to make games. I don't fancy being teacher on this one, tho....

If I compile some code in IDEal without first saving it I'm presented with 'Eve wants Breakfast {x} amount of times, go and do it now....' scrolling up the screen, which harks back to my version of teaching my daughter to code when she was roughly 8. Probably explains why she's shown no interest since

Mine has done a bit in Locomotive Basic (CPC464) but I've not yet let her loose with a PC. I think they teach programming in primary schools year 4 or 5 now to some extent so she might be more into it (or not) next year.
