People whinge their asses off about the current ~£1.30 per litre of Petrol, but nobody seems to have noticed that a half-litre of CocaCola is only 15p cheaper.

It's about fucking time someone whooped their high-price-fixing cartel, and if this helps that along, then I'm all for it.

I know a way to drive-down the cost of petrol and Diesel, everyone stops buying it for a week, that will make the greedy c***s panic. I'm willing to do it, if everyone else does their share.

steve, that wouldn't work out too well if you plan to continue driving. You would have to stock up before the boycott, at which the gas companies have earned an extra week's worth of sales before-hand.

We need to find ways to not rely on cars and fuel so much, and to better utilize it when we have to use it.

I was working on this space combat game, called Garbage Invaders (some of you may have already heard of it), where you have to salvage parts off the enemy ships you destroy. I was planing on having a desert kind of area in the game, an area so vast that you're forced to conserve resources to cross it, and trade out weaker but more efficient ship components in order to make it. Maybe even go so far as to remain adrift through the area.

What is needed is the push for alternative fuels. This was in the news a couple of months back (Linkage), but there doesn't seem to be much said about it since, bought-out and shelved by the oil companies probably!.
