As I sit here on a Friday morning, (Well, I say morning, it's actually 12 O'Clock, and I've only just woken up) I find another unfinished newsletter needing to be filled out and sent around the interwebs.
Lots of typing needed, and not a keyboard in sight.
I really am getting the hang of typing on an iPad.
I've no idea why JL235 seemed to hate the onscreen keyboard as much as he initially did. For me, it's just the right size, especially when used in landscape mode.
Yesterday, Incase you were wondering, I spent a good four hours or so digging through my photo collection. And I'm only about halfway through. 864 left in the Disorganised folder.
First I'm sorting them all into folders, then I'll have to find some sort of decent tagging program, and then it's the exceedingly lengthy process of uploading over 4Gb of photos to a photo site somewhere.. .. I'll probably just use Facebook, if I'm honest!
Here's something I didn't know until this week.
If you change your robots.txt to request "no archive", not only will Archive.org stop new archives, they also remove old archives, too.
As a result of some idiot domain owner's stupidity, the entire BlitzCoder archive has been removed from archive.org.

Sometimes, you just can't be bothered any more.
Some great ideas are worth fighting for, but other times you just want to give up.
It's pretty rare that I give up on things. As an example, Wednesday Workshop carried on long after everyone finished giving a crap about it.
But this time I'm giving up early.

Essentially you could still patent "What your hardware does when a software event occurs", but not the actual software side of things.. or something like that..
