Oops!
It's 10:30am on a Friday morning.
I've just woken up.
I'm supposed to spend Thursday nights writing the newsletter, but instead opted to do the following.
First up, I pulled out "the ominous box of cables", emptied it onto the floor, then proceeded to organise it's entire contents before finally throwing out an insane number of wires, cables, and other assorted bits of crap that have gathered in the box, over the past decade or so.

After that, I lay in bed and started to watch NerdHQs ComicCon Panels.

Many many years ago, I attempted to integrate a Twitter feed into Socoder.
...but everyone complained about having to join up to some silly new website, just for a Socoder feature that nobody would ever use.
I scrapped it.
But I left the @Socoder twitter account where it was. No need to delete it. It could come in handy!!?
About a year ago, I remembered about it, and added it to my Tweetbot list of accounts. Ever since, every so often, I've posted random garbage into the account. Silly nonsense. Oddities. Daftness.
Occasionally, somebody (we all know who) will mistakingly take @socoder at his word, follow the obviously fake instructions, and then complain that it didn't work.
Poor DNA!!
Since DD's too busy, and .. um.. something unspecified appears to have happened to make his brother leave the project.. PlayMyCode has been in a bit of a lull..
The blog is OVER A YEAR OLD, requests are going unfulfilled, and the forum questions are being unanswered.
The "new" section is also being unimaginatively flooded with nothing but Forked projects, and nothing interestingly new is happening at all.
It's time to give it a Kickstart, so this week, I've decided to launch a brand new PMC Workshop tumblr thing.
You guys should know the drill!
Each week, I pick a random spur of the moment theme, and pop it up, then everyone has to make a game/otherwise that fits the theme.
Lets see if we can bring the site back to it's former glory!

I don't normally devote an entire section to an obituary, but Mel Smith was one of the greats as I was growing up.
Me and my sister would stay up late, watching these sorts of shows, upstairs in Mum and Dad's room, as Mum preferred to watch boring drama things on "the big telly".
These comedies were part of my upbringing, and my sense of humour is now as stuck fast in the 80s as my coding habits.
Adam Savage regularly goes to Comic-Con, but wears different costumes so he doesn't get recognised.
