I didn't get to sleep until well past 5am, last night, so I'm sat here without the laptop (Can't be arsed going downstairs to pick it up) in a half-asleep daze, kinda bored and not sure what to do..

Apologies that I've been lacking in the Newsletter department, lately. Things have been either far too busy, or far too quiet, and it's never felt like the right time to jump back into things.
Hopefully this is the start of me getting back to some kind of normality, though. No guarantees we'll be here again, this time next week, but it'd be nice if we are!!
Spinal wishes that Monkey would implement some sort of clean-up feature, whereby upon hitting a special button (I'd imagine, or it may get silly!!) Monkey would use it's internal "Things you haven't used" functionality to strip out any bits of your code that's completely unused.
It sure would be handy to get rid of 95% of those leftover functions, and other bits and pieces.

A couple of months ago, someone spammed our forum and then promptly vanished.
"Musician for Hire" wishing to spam about his/her services.
This week, he/she decided to post a second post about his/her services.
Always nice to see people interacting with the community, taking part in their own topics, and discussing the ins and outs of music/game dev/other stuff.

Putting the whole kit into something the size of an old Amiga External Drive is another..

Spinal is finding it frustrating having little symbols displayed on the Mac which are supposed to signify buttons that people are immensly familiar with. Unfortunately, in the real-world, only "Mac People" are actually familiar with them, and when none-Mac users eventually make the switch, this use of odd squiggles and unfamiliar icons is one of the largest stumbling blocks in trying to make use of the new OS. socoder.net/?topic=4013
