Any library added to the JDK or .NET comes with: overviews, intentions, tutorials, examples (I mean provided examples of usage, not random community code-snippits) and of course APIs.

The same is true for quite a lot of programming languages, frameworks and libraries.

i agree with 9572AD.

The version of B2D I have came with built in documentation for the commands except for a few that were added during the transition to the next version of the software.

All the TCP and UDP commands were not documented and there might be a few others. That Blitzsys never worked with my version though.

I'd be curious to see how Mark will build around the fact you can't have a mainloop with the HTML canvas. Instead you setup a draw function which the browser calls multiple times (this avoids having the page lockup from a big while loop), and it automatically flips the buffers between calls.

This is just speculation, but I think as a result Blitz Max 2 will end up being a cross-platform language with platform-specific libraries, and so it'll just be that certain libraries have a flip and some you need to set a function to be called.
