Nevermind, seems you got it from here: https://www.computerhistory.org/atchm/adobe-photoshop-source-code/

Cool!

I'd prefer people use the "Code Snippets" for things they've produced themselves. This is a waste of functionality. Use a link, FFS.

I was actually trying to work out what proggy-lingo that snippet is for, it's either something that I'm not familiar with or that source code is a bloomin' mess.

It's Pascal!

I always thought PASCAL was a teaching language and not really for production, I guess it works though! Wasn't the window/gui friendly version called Delphi?

Never used pascal myself and after seeing that code I don't think I want to either.

i also have the source for the actual resizing. It's just as bad.

This listing has the wrong title.

I was going to post it but it might give the rest of you more headaches even though it shows how Photoshop was, and might be, structured underneath.

Pascal, aside from two pointer functions, is the same as C.
Or it was classically, anyhow. Who knows what it is today.

I always thought C was like C++ but without the ++ bit, that code looks bugger-all like C++.

Pascal has different syntax from C, but the same operations that work the same way (aside from the aforementioned pointer functions)

When I went to uni they were still flogging Pascal at the students, and C++ was considered unstable, and Borland made the best compilers, and we used QuattroPro for spreadsheets and WordPerfect for typing, and the Internet was newsgroups, MUDs, BBSs, IRC and FTP servers, and the MegaDrive was brand new.
