GfK	Yeah I know, I remember it. Thing is... they said they made it clear it was a drama. I don't think they did. They used the word "idiom" in the announcement before it, but at 17 I wouldn't have known what the word meant so I can understand how it may have affected some people - it proper frightened the shit out of many - read somewhere it drew over 30,000 complaints. That aside, I missed the first few minutes anyway (and consequently the apparent "this is all fake" notice) and beyond that, there was nothing further to suggest it was all staged - not until it all went silly at the end. On the upside, it was very nicely done, for it's time. Today we've got Most Haunted, which passes itself off as factual yet has been exposed as fake many, many times. But nobody really cares any more.

rockford	I watched it LIVE too and until near the end I thought it was a serious programme - ,aybe I was gullible, but it definitely was NOT presented as a drama beforehand. I really enjoyed it, until it all went a bit silly. Then it became clear that it was just a hoax/scary programme. I still have fond memories of it though.
