Dabz	Ages ago, I asked the neighbour if he still had the chimney breast in his dining room, he said aye, so I thought champion, I'll use gallow brackets when taking mine... Turns out... He hasnt, so now I have to use a dirty lump of RSJ to carry my side of the stack, and ive already bought the bloody gallows as well!!! Like, how do you not know a chimney breast, in your OWN HOUSE is missing a mass of bricks like that!?! Dabz	Big long bit of steel, shaped like a 'H' > Reveal 🔎 Been looking, and I dont know if it's me or not, but when I look for something online, that isnt amazony, how come the cost of carriage is always or just about the same as the bloody thing I'm buying! RSJ: £102 (ex VAT) Carriage: £100 Granted it'll be some weight, but even when it came to things like 2mx1m of lino for the old bog come new airing cupboard, the cost of getting it delivered was the same price as the lino!!! So I'll ring them up, ask, they'll give me a price. So I said to the auld fella who drives for them [who used to own it, took a canny chunk, went semi-retired and just drives for them... And STILL hounds me for a ciggie when he lands, lol], anyway, I asked him why they dont put prices on the site, and he said so competitors cannot compare... And I was like... Anar, but whats the difference between me ringing yous up for a price, a competitor doing the same, over having the prices on the site? He said he didnt know... And, agreed it was stupid wasnt it... And I was like "Aye, it is!!!"
