Cave Industrial.
The Stone Age inhabitants discover that if you hollow out a rock, put water in it, and place it over a fire, that it generates steam.
If you place a grape in the hollowed hole, it builds enough pressure to launch the grape several hundred meters.
They use it to play "catch the grape", spending decades trying to perfect their mouth catching abilities.

You know how Smallville was always a relatively dull plot and then right at the end would be a "wow" cliffhanger that teased you enough to come back next week for the dull dredge through another boring storyline before another amazing cliffhanger.

That'd be my show.
Watching the dullness of coding a game, before the enjoyment of the final product, and then next week is exactly the same.
