Gah, spreadsheets

Is it me, or are spreadsheets murder to get to print properly? They always look fine on the print-previews, but never print out on one page like the preview promises.

Do you reckon it'd be my printer choking on margin set-ups, or are spreadsheets designed to be annoying?

Bah, humbug

Spreadsheets are designed to be annoying.
That's why they always print in Portait even though you're sure you'd set it to Landscape..

the only time I used spreadsheets is when
I was doing UV cure at work.
We had to record measurements of the substrates
and enter the pertinent information into
the spreadsheet application and also record
othe information too.

um...UV stands for Ultra Violet light/radiation.

I've been using computers for years, and I still don't know how to use spreadsheets. I launched the MS Excel, and within a few minutes pressed the exit button. That was the end of that.

Hey, some versions of Excel have a flight simulator hidden inside if you type the right forumula.

Yup, Microsoft employees were bored!

@steve,

I wish I was up in the the real thing.
Take a flight in a jet fighter.
Or maybe even a flight in the next
Space shuttle launch.

Alas, I have neither the cash nor the training to take the flight. But, maybe a 3d virtual simulation.

cheers,

I have got a good R/C flight simulator. It comes in handy during bad weather when I can't fly my R/C planes. All I do is interface my transmitter with the PC, launch the app, and it's quite near to propper R/C flying.

hey,

I know that there are arcade virtual reality simulators
for shooter games like Doom, Duke Nukem and even Laura Croft of Tombraider fame. And they cost a pretty plent of a penny to play. true
I played in one for Duke Nukem. 25 bucks for 10 minutes of play!

I have also seen skateboard and surfing arcade virtual simulators too. How about one for jet fighter simulation...or even one for the Space Shuttle too.

cheers,
