Please, let me close my business down!

You would have thought, that, when you're closing a company down, workload would decrease accordingly, particularly in the realms of website design and development. No-one wants to be requesting for new sites or large sites changes when there's 4 days of web-development left until close-me-do happens, right?

Well, apparently, that's not the case. I've spent the whole day coding my arse off just trying to get the inbox back down to zero as usual and some jabronie now wants their virtually finished, ready to go live website re-designed, with some changes that apparently can't be communicated via email. FFS, I've still got to ensure the people taking over are decently trained up for server bits 'n' bobs, pre-prepare the tax returns and...arrrggghhhhh!

Hopefully some nice relaxing game dev at home tonight will calm me down again, yeah, that'll do the trick

Changing anything is a chore. This is why getting your company logo is so damn important. Even little things, like the BBC changing their square boxes to sloping boxes, ended up costing a bloody fortune, and taking a LONG time to filter through!

Change is good, but changing isn't!
Hopefully it'll be worth it, in the end.
Good luck!

Tidying up the office a bit, fuck it's hard to throw away books, even decade old programming books. Well, especially decade old programming books!

It's hard to discard your own history. Be sure to keep the important bits!

It really is, particularly with my hoarding instincts! Chucked out a fair bit though, just got the software, other books, a couple of folders with stuff from the start of it all and , of course, the compy!

Doop dee doop, feel kinda weird not being a company anymore now, as to be expected. It's okay though.

Essentially different but okay different.

The peeps I'm working for from next week already have a list of 65 things to change on their website which is good, should keep me busy over there.
