I remember playing the original while it was fresh, although I voted for the Mammoth

Nice graphics & sounds, but not really interesting for more than a couple of minutes.

Yeah, I know.. I'm just faffing about with ideas for the 2nd Retro Collection, and occasionally building up Blitz editions of the games as I go..
It helps keep AGameAWeek going, so that's good enough

Like both of you said, it's not the greatest or most unique game of its kind, but it was built in a week, so I totally respect that. It's got a certain amount of polish to it too; the enemy motion is just great (as are the different enemies), and the sound effects aren't obnoxious. For what it is, it's good!

One issue - I get a TON of slowdown at the very beginning, and whenever new enemies spawn. It certainly adds to the retro feel, but I doubt that was the plan...
