If you have a Twitter.com account, let me know your username and I'll add you as a friend to the Socoder user. That way you'll pop up on the frontpage. Note : I might get rid of this feature. Not sure how easy it is on the server constantly reading an RSS feed from another server! Note 2 : We could use SoCode-a-Thon, but Stealth seems to have vanished/keeping a low profile of late. I can only imagine he's busy with his School Forum project, or something, so I'll just leave him to get on with that, as opposed to annoying the heck out of him again with an idea that never went anywhere the last time I tried it. Note 3 : It doesn't update all too often. Whether that's the Twitter RSS feed not updating, or a cache issue or something, I'm not sure. -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''

It still hasn't updated my name, which I changed about 30 minutes ago. Well, it seems that our little Twitter experiment isn't so fine and dandy. The rss feed for whatever reason refuses to update in a timely manner. I'll probably just set it back to the old Random Quotes thing.. But I'll keep the Socoder Twitter thing open, with an RSS feed link. -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''

I remember on an old site I used to be a member of, Animeh, they had a similar feature. Some form of postbox. It worked very well and was usually more active then the site. But what was great about it was how you could post on the front page a little comment. Rather then a whole Twitter sign-up and log-in. Perhaps you should contemplate making your own? |

I thought of that, yes. But I also considered that I like to read my other twitter user's stuff anyway, and that it'd be nice to incorporate the functionality into the site. With twitter, you don't have to even go to Twitter.com. You can post directly from your IM software, or even from a mobile. But, guess it's not all that great, otherwise that little update thing would work right! I'll think about other ways to do things. -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''

That's what happens when lots of people all comment on the same set of things! The script lists the last 50 comments, but dumps same-entry things together.. So the last 50 comments were all to the same 5 things! -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''

Oh, OK. No, it's easy to do, it's just a For-Loop.. Change a number, the thing is done. I'm actually more worried about it having to do that on every page, and if I do increase the list, it's more work for the script to do. -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''
