ST Picard

That's the first ''minor'' f-bomb. Takes an Admiral to really nail it with a full-on F-BOMB.

ST Picard

7th February 2020

I was shocked to hear the F-Bomb in ST Discovery and stopped watching it not long after. And here we are again, barely into episode 2 of ST Picard and in come the F-Bombs :(
Seriously, why do they feel it necessary to introduce such vulgarities into ST! *snip*

Coding the Classics PDF

20th December 2019

Yep, there's quite a bit of content. Introductions to the games, how they work, how they coded it, the actual code listings etc. It's really well presented and the games look and play really well.

BBC's War of the Worlds

18th November 2019

I watched the first episode last night and quite enjoyed it. However, you need to turn your brain off somewhat to get past the pointless padding and the awful (and I mean, REALLY AWFUL) editing.
Hopefully the following episodes will improve it.

Hi, introducing... Myself

17th October 2019

Hi Jeroen! Lovely first post and welcome aboard! Not many people around these parts. Some come and go (like me, but that's just me being lazy generally). Everybody is proper friendly here and usually quite sarcastic too... So I'm sure you will f*snip*

I have to admit that I didn't really have that much interest in this project, but that certainly doesn't mean I didn't want you to succeed.

Apple Bank Disappointment Showcase 2019

10th September 2019

Zero fucks given. The amount of money me and my company has spent on Apple is ridiculous. Just to watch perfectly adequate hardware become stupid expensive doorstops. Not any more. Apple tax can get stuffed.

Personally, I think that's just a jumped up load of yuppy crap. $150 for a b&w device with a hand crank. You can't make games for it - they'll deliver 12 at launch and then one a week after that until they get bored.
Yes, the TE guys hav*snip*

The return of Earthworm Jim...

I actually enjoyed the original EJ. And in all honesty, I'm quite excited about the new Intellivision - I really hope it works out for them.
Also, devkits will be free - so there's that too!

Descriptive Code

10th April 2019

What I find frustrating these days is that people are so keen to re-engineer stuff so that it's ''better''. Better for what? Better for who? I've worked (and still do) as an Enterprise Architect for a number of very large companies and I*snip*

Just a wee note re: emscripten. If you've not looked into WebAssembly (WASM) then I'd suggest poking a wee nose there - especially if you've been building games/utils/frameworks using C/C++. I'll not bother going into details here, but Ha*snip*

Then you need to tweak the value of Beta to suit. Since all you want is your waveform smoothing then this is all you need - because that's exactly what it does.

point between 2 numbers?

I'm still not sure why this is so complicated.
When I re-read your original comment of ''I need to smooth out my wave form (in real time)'' then this is exactly what a low-pass filter does. You can even knock one up in a single line of code -*snip*

I'd suggest taking a look at low-pass filters. Millions of examples on the internet and I believe a simple version will be all you need (and you're not far off it with the code above anyway).
