Message in a Bottle

For the Animal Crossing fans...

Animal Crossing: Wild World for the Nintendo DS has a nifty feature that allows you to send and recieve notes from other players in the form of bottled messages that wash up on shore. I got a strange one today, which sounds either like a suicide note or a farewell message from a terminal patient. It reads:

"Listen Up!

If you're reading this, it's probably too late for me! Take care of things for me, would you?

Farewell...
"

Most likely it's a joke. But what if...?

User created messages all start with "Dear Some Stranger", so the message you've recieved is more than likely a built in one.

I guess Nintendo like to depress their users!

Dear Non-Strangers,

hey guys,

here is a real message in a bottle.
and from Jim Croce too.

www.lyricsfreak.com/j/jim+croce/time+in+a+bottle_20071486.html

but hey, also if I bought a Nintendo Wii and maybe a few games too. The company better not call me stranger. I will
and would be a member and a guest in their Nintendo Neighborhood and niche too.
And I have been a guest, member and fanboy for Nintendo for many years. So they better not send me a message like that.

serious,

Actually, Jay, I believe the "dear some stranger" can be changed.
