Here's what I was greeted with this morning. I managed to drive out to do a few things without any problems.

On my travels I, saw an overturned transit van, and that was on a road that had been gritted so he couldn't have been concentrating very well.

What made me laugh though, is the local "Bling Bling, I'm better than you" drivers. I saw loads of them bottling out on hills and stuff, and taking another route. Then they just stand and stare at me when I just calmly cruise up the same hill that they tried. LOL... Looks like all that thowing cars around on muddy fields and icy car parks, finally paid off. Oh the joys of being a highly experienced driver ! >

And yes, it's real snow... All 5 inches of it, and bloody cold too !

My Corsa and my Dad's Astra, looking like they have grown 1970's hair styles.

Looks lifeless doesn't it !

Chavs thinking to themselve's... "What the f**k is this stuff ?"

I'd post a "Snow at Jays" pic, but it pretty much looks like every other "Snow at Jays" pic that I've posted previously! Jay doesn't get out much, so it's the same back/front gardens that it always is!!!

There were no busses running either, due to nearly all the main roads being packed with snow, due Brighton & Hove City Council being too stingy to use the rocksalt that they say they don't have !. Two people have died in Brighton today, as a result of poor road management.

I overheard someone saying, that they know a person that works for the Council, and apparently, B&HCC have got tonnes of the stuff, but they are too tight to grit the roads. In a high Council Tax area, I would have thought that the Council would have done something about it !

Haha. We get more snow than that in Wichita (Kansas) all the time. I guess we are just more used to it and don't take such dramatic measures.

LOL.
I've been in Middlesbrough for about a week now, and although the 'snow-craze' wasn't huge, it still felt like we brought it with us from Norway to some degree.
It was a great pickup-trick/conversational topic, as some people said they heard it was the most snow they'd had down there for 18 years!
Whenever I greeted a girl running down the street into some club (they were always half-nekkid, btw - what's up with that?) with the line 'Lovely weather, eh?', most of them looked at me like I was an alien from another planet!!
