Nate and BLitz3dman,

I was thinking of doing something like spinal
and you(Blitz3dman) have suggested and shown

but....I was feeling I would come across
as perhaps sarcastic, redundant response
or of a 'know it all'.
So, Nate hey again welcome aboard and good
for first code. You are coming along just fine.

cheers

I hope I didn't appear as a know-it-all, it was only intended as a small lesson, to help. I remember my first program was copied straight out of a book, my first few in fact were from the Commodore64 user manual.

Keep up the work Nate, before long you will yourself be offering advice and lessons to the new guys.

no, no Spinal...it wasn't you.

It was me. I just didn't want to come across
as a 'know it all'. But I'll share some code to even it
all out:

okay, yeah!! this is an old program when I was
starting out on 3d graphics and animations. Needs to be
reworked and optimized, of course.
what it does when you run the program and with the
appropriate media in the correct folder too:

a picture of Babylon appears on the screen. Actually,
its a picture of the ruins of Ancient Rome..but looks
close enough to Babylon.
Then a 3d pyramid appears up close and with a texture skin
of Babylon and on top of the Pyramid is the All-Seeing eye.
The third eye...just like on the back of the 1 dollar bill.
So the Pyramid rotates and zooms out and get smaller, then rotates back and zooms back in...and gets bigger again.
Then as it rotates out again, it has a drag like effect
and moves slower as it zooms out and with the All Seeing
Eye moving back n forth and looking a little down on you.
Surveying and tracking you...the control and fate of your life. whoa!!
By the way, the spherical eye which represents
the ALL Seeing Eye is from a picture of my cat Lissie.
I also use her eye as an avabar too.
