Hotshot	I have problem with new computer as I cant get in window and all I see is blue background with white fonts saying this "STOP: C000135 {unable to locate Component} This Application has failed to start becase Basemcoc32(Yes it is correct spelling as I have double check it) was not found. Re-stalling the application may fix the problem."

JL235	I have no idea as to what is wrong, but it sounds like a stop error. Try copying down the number and going on the Microsoft support website. If in doubt, e-mail them about it. Microsoft support does exist and is actually pretty good. Have you tried booting into safe mode and then fixing this problem there?

JL235	Well I'm not completely sure if this will work, but can't you just download Windows (illegally) but then reinstall using the cd-key on one of those stickers on the back of your PC (presuming it is there)?

power mousey	oh no!, first the graphics card. Now this. Sorry, Hotshot. Most likely you have to do a whole "Recovery" set up. Every thing is reinitialized and formated back to the initial default factory settings. But do this, only and only after you exhausted all other possibilities and solutions. I had to do this on my HP computer a few times.

Hotshot	I dont have even have Recover Disk for it I do have copies of Window xp home edition but I went to Bio setting and change to boot to CD and it doesnt work... So much headache of the pc eh? I did rather own Next gen Amiga instead of Anynnoed PC But no...I have sort the bugger( pc ) for once and all lol

lyons	I do have copies of Window xp home edition but I went to Bio setting and change to boot to CD and it doesnt work. i had that problem of the cd not booting even with the bios set to boot to cd recently. i wad trying to set up a pc for a project im working on. i got round it by putting my hdd in another pc to start the stage 1 of windows installer (thats this one) if you want to reinstall windows (usually the best option with windows) you could try installing the first half on another pc and the put the hdd back in the original computer once it reboots as the setup will be on you hard disk and so lets you continue. hope that makes some sense. -=-=-

power mousey	surprisingly, I agree with JL and share his statement. Thank you, Lyons. yet, Hotshot so no recovery disk? What about a built-in recovery system within the hard drive? I'm not talking about the System Restore either. But a built in recovery to initiate to default factory settings. Fortunately my HP came with both. Good luck and I agree with Jay. There can only be one...one Os. And one OS to rule them all.

If you make large changes, like changing the motherboard, it will ask you to re-register. It doesn't like to be on different hardware. Even if it works, running from USB will probably be quite slow. I'd advise Googling this as if it's possible someone has probably already done it.

power mousey	when you run out of solutions and when you're ready, perhaps its time for a whole reformat recovery back to the initial default settings. I don't know if your computer has built-in system recovery back to the "initial" factory settings. Hopefully, it won't come down to that. Again, my HP Pavilion has this and a recovery cd. Hotshot	I just bought Sat 2 Hard drive and also cable for it too. I need go to pc world again to get More PSU Cable to connect other hard drive(otherwords...I will have two hard drive....one master and one slave) then I will be able to unstall the service pack 2 on hard drive been FOOK UP. I let You know how I get on.
