Been using Netflix for a long time now. Original launch of UK Netflix was awful - and didn't improve for a long time. There's an OK selection there now.

However, to get the most of it you should sign up to unblock-us. Only costs a couple quid a month and allows you to select which Netflix region to watch - dead easy to use too.

Does Netflix care about this? Does it naff - they get to keep customers who they see as "travelling users".

USA/Canada have had some cracking content (for some odd reason most new releases appear on Canada first). Some regions have forced subtitles which is a tad annoying, but not all.

Been really happy with NF and it certainly keeps the kids quiet for a bit

I just got Netflix yesterday. Try this website if you're overwhelmed by the choices:

At $5 US per month it would not be beneficial for me since I do not watch that much TV

Today I paid £49 for Amazon Prime.. (Or rather, I signed up, they take the £49 next month.)
According to amazon's frontpage, they're adding movie and TV streams into the price of the Prime subscription.
I figured, since I was enjoying Netflix so much, I might as well sign up for that, too.
Guess we'll see, in a few days, how good it actually is.
Hmmm....

As of today, anyone with an Amazon Prime account has complete access to the LoveFilm archive of movies and TV shows.
Heck of a lot of content for the price!!
