Don't use modified versions of EA's content, don't use them at all. Create your own. That is my biggest suggestion.
I would recommend you setup a blog, and blog about development of this. Even if it's just "today I did x, y and z; and it's going ok, I had*snip*

I was sceptical it was going to be short, since it's just one campaign. However it's actually pretty lengthy.
The missions are also far more varied then in the first Starcraft, and one of the real saving graces. I would say without a doubt, they are the b*snip*

In fairness, Norton has come a long way over the last 2 or 3 years. It's much faster, works with Windows UAC (used to require disabling it), less intrusive, and installs/uninstalls correctly (I've had Norton leave Windows un-bootable in the past).

Ah, I see why it's not a bool. a is set to 1 or 0, and then it's used to set an upper bit on the next loop. You get similar stuff with maths, such as rounding without any branches (which is often efficient on the more exotic CPUs with very long pipelines).*snip*

If I had a user profile and edit methods, I'd probably put them in the same controller, next to each other.

I partly agree with Spinal. Roller Coaster Tycoon was entirely written in assembly, and the reason was solely because the developer (Chris Sawyer) really liked writing in assembly. It wasn't for performance or any other reason then that.

It could be that you have the HTML set to be cached in your htaccess file. Try a ctrl+r (forced refresh) in your browser, and if it starts to update correctly, then your sites caching is to blame.
It might even be that you don't have any information about*snip*

the pound sign hatred of PHP is because it doesn’t have proper Unicode support, and £ isn’t in ASCII (unlike the dollar, which is silly)
