QOTD : No thanks!

2nd September 2008

An Xbox360 here too. Or actually, any console. They run pretty high and I don't have money to burn these days. Oh, and a wireless router, for the same reasons.

Anything new for Socoder?

24th August 2008

I know what I want!!
I want there to be a more noticable queue to when there's more than one page to a forum topic. I mean, yeah the page: 1,2,3 works pretty well, but you gotta go looking for it, or else you don't know there's more pages. Just make it *snip*

Andriod UI may beat iPhone UI

24th August 2008

I only have a tracfone, all it really has is a calculator and alarm clock. If I need anything more fancy, I just pull out my pocket-pad (a pocket-sized notebook) an djot things down in there.
As nice as that interface is, its hard to justify the price. *snip*

Blitz collisions trouble

23rd August 2008

thanks orion, I'll see what I can do about adding depth to my models. I'd share my project source but its some 6,000 lines now, and growing!

Blitz collisions trouble

22nd August 2008

I have come across some problems with Blitz's collisions, and I'm not sure if there's a problem with how I'm doing things, or if the models I'm using just won't work with it. I'm building a spaceship game where you can salvage parts of the enemy ships you*snip*

Anything new for Socoder?

21st August 2008

Well, as far as the page layout goes, what about having the different sections expand out when you click the title? For example, the latest posts section could start as just the title part, and when you click that, it expands out to show all the text. It*snip*

Hanging around !...

21st August 2008

Hah, that's interesting. Glad to see nobody got hurt in either incident. What exactly was the plane caught on, in the power lines? It seemed to be dangling by a wheel or something.

Music Software

10th August 2008

I've always used Winamp because it supports non-standard file music formats, of which I found on modarchive.com (which no longer exists, I think its modarchive.org). Windows Media Player can't do that, it seems.
If you go looking for plugins, you can als*snip*

QOTD : Weekends

9th August 2008

I'm with Jay, I work. My job is with McDonalds, I'm responsible for deciding everything to order at three different stores. Everything from frenchfries, to the salt-and-pepper mix we use on the hamburgers, to the chemicals we use to keep the stores clean*snip*

QOTD : Taking Ages

5th August 2008

I once had a map editor that built levels using squares, and another map editor that was great for building large-scale levels. Because the square-based map editor created alot of extra polygons, I decided to make a simple app to reduce the polygons.
It *snip*

QOTD : What else can it do?

3rd August 2008

Another cool feature I found out, the Windows key can be used for a few shortcuts. Win+D brings up your desktop. Win+E brings up My Computers. Win+R brings up a run dialog, where you can run any recognized program.

I found this earlier today.

3rd August 2008

It should fare much better than another Java IDE I've used, which was mostly for java learning. I forget what it was called, but it had the same Java-looking GUI images. It came readily available on the computer-science lab PCs at my college. I tried in*snip*

QOTD : What else can it do?

2nd August 2008

I recently found out my tracfone has an alarm feature. Useless for waking me up as its too quiet, but quite handy for reminders. Too bad the phone doesn't have a calendar, like my last one...

adnormal program termination on End?

2nd August 2008

JL: Umm... that's fine and all, but first, I'm not using arrays at all, yet. Second, this only happens when the program ends, not when I'm doing anything else. Third, it says that Blitzcc.exe caused the error, not my game program. Right now I don't thin*snip*

[seemingly] Random MAV?

31st July 2008

You should try outputting the values you're feeding into the RotateImage command, before you execute it, plus the size of the image. You can send it either to file or debuglog. Then the last value will be what caused the error, or proof that there is som*snip*

adnormal program termination on End?

31st July 2008

JL: Blitz always tells you when you're reading or writing outside the bounds of a bank - or array - no matter how large or small the bank is.
I actually haven't updated my version of WinXP, in over a year and a half, because its my laptop and we don't hav*snip*

adnormal program termination on End?

24th July 2008

Well, if I were to read outside a bank's size, I'd get a runtime error straight away. The funny thing about this error is it happens whenever the program ends, not while its running. I've tried freeing all the banks, plus media before ending the program,*snip*

simple image warping ?
