Last Week's Games
Last week there were 3 entries!
Shroom Monk gave us a mushroom flavoured sleigh ride, Andrew Soltan got us to bounce some Puds about, and Magicman kept the flies away.

Which one wins, you decide!

Vote for them here.
Leaving a comment lets you post a vote. The game with the highest overall percentage at the end of the week is declared the wins.

You know anyone that enters this WW can whack a dev-crunch sticker on it an do the christmas compo thing. I'm kinda tempted to do the santa gone wild thing. You never know might even manage to scronge a runners up prize.

you don't really stand a chance, tho, cause everyone from devcrunch have been spending the whole month on their games, making super amazingful 3d adventure games.

What if this were not a hypothetical question?

Can I make a game with the title santa is getting run over by a reindeer?

My game isn't bad but, my graphics have gone horribly wrong. It now looks like santa is stuck to a giant snowball and he's rolling away from the shark looking reindeers in a giant grassland .

You should see my santa!!!

Mine is far far worse shroom_monk. And my reindeers are quite literally quarter of a circle. Ok, It's back to the drawing board to fix the dodgy graphics.

Have a scanner? You could always hand-draw an outline, then scan it in and edit it (adding colour etc) on your computer.

Yeah, but I'm better at computerised drawing than real life drawing. And I'm pathetic at computerised drawing, hence the fact, my drawing is rubbish. My drawing has always been rubish. The only reason I got an A in the art exam is because one of my final drafts done at home, I traced it, then photocopied it onto squared paper. I then used this to derive co-ordinates and then replotted the co-ordinates to produce my final draft. Using the final draft, I measured out every single point during the lesson and plotted it onto my final piece. No cheating there, just some intelligent thinking.

After all, That's what our Head of Geography promotes

Best thing to do is work on the game, and put in simple 'filler' graphics. Then, when the game is done, replace the 'filler' graphics with better ones.

To be honest, my game engine(code not graphics) is simply at a stage of handing in now. However, I'm contemplating the idea of adding levels, which by the looks of things, is going ot be rather easy. As form my, graphics, I'm off to the gimp to fix them.

Workshop Over!
3 entries for this week, surprisingly from the exact same 3 authors as last week.

For those keeping score, Magicman won last week's challenge with a 75% rating. (Shroom had 50%, and Andrew 25%*)

*Scores accurate at time of post.
