10 minutes? It takes longer than that to get an instrument out of its case!

Is that an academy by any chance?. Brighton Aldridge Community Academy (formerly my old school Falmer High School, before some rich Rolf Harris looking cunt by the name of Rod Aldridge had it knocked down and rebuilt), is notorius for charging parents shitloads of dosh.

And when I say Rod Aldridge looks like Rolf Harris, I proper mean it!

£6 for 10mins of wobble-board lessons is an absolute rip off!

To be fair, you'd only need the one lesson!!

Not an academy - it's a C of E school.

They're always coming cap-in-hand for one thing or another. We even have to pay £2 a week for swimming lessons. Today we've had to pay a quid for our daughter to spend however long running around the schoolyard in circles for some shit or other.

I emailed the school, asking them to confirm this is a mis-print.

It isn't a mis-print. In an expected show of buck-passing, they squarely blamed the council as they apparently set the prices.

That's ludicrous...

The teachers already get paid for their job though, they're taking the fucking piss.

Most of our local schools ask for yet more and more. Not much we can do about it as they're getting squeezed to death budget wise. Six quid for 10 mins of lesson time a week is taking the royal piss though - off you fuck with that sunshine!
