rockford	It was pretty misty here yesterday, mild though, but it's brightened up considerably today and the snow is pretty much all gone. All that remains are small piles that were huge piles and decapitated snowmen - honestly, around us looks like scenes from a Calvin & Hobbes cartoon!

Dabz	Nice overlap fence... Fucking horrid concrete posts! Uggghhhhhh I hope them are well into the ground as well, I bet there's some weight there, something like them I'd of built a nice set of brick pillars... 1) Deep foundations with steel reinforcement 2) Rebars tied to said foundations and coming straight up where the centre of the pillars will be 3) Start to build pillars around rebars 4) Get so far up, fill in the void in the pillars where the rebar is with concrete... Making sure its well packed down as we fill. 5) Continue building pillars and filling them 6) When its at the correct height, top them off with a nice decorative set of caps It will look really nice, and will be rock solid! Concrete posts... Pffffttt.... Go over there and tell him its not the 70's anymore!
