therevillsgames	Shame it’s $250AUD more than the 128GB version. If Meta released a 256MB I would have gotten that one, so having to pay a premium but such is tech

Jayenkai	Yeah, I stuck with the 128Gb model, myself, mostly because I know for a fact that I won't be downloading a ton of stuff to it. My Q2 was only 18Gb used!!! But if you're the sort of person who's trying all the games, it's likely better to have the space for that. Also.. \o/yeay\o/ -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''

therevillsgames	It’s Questmas! My Q3 turned up yesterday late and only just had a play. The new lenses are next level! The controllers are great without the rings. And performance feels a nice bump up. It does get hotter than the Q2 and for some reason I feel the text is actually more blurry in the Q3 than in the Q2 which is strange. The strap and form still suck so I’ll be replacing them asap. The mixed reality game is pretty cool too.

therevillsgames	Looks like there is a bug in W&G it doesnt detect when the triggers are pressed... which stops you progressing in the game - boooo!

Jayenkai	Ok, tried out W&G. Ingame, you have a checklist of things to find, which you bring up by tapping the controller's hamburger button on the left controller, then lifting up the board so you can see it. Also, the "return to main menu" button is on the board in your left hand, too, so that's nice. I was about 50% or so through the tutorial, and hit the hamburger button to check the list of items, so lifted my left hand up. Along the way, the "return to main menu" button passed leisurely by my right hand, and magically triggered. And I was given no "are you sure?" requester. It just quit the game back to the main menu. "Oh, ffs", I swore, then hit the Play button, at which point it went right back to the start of the bloody tutorial. I quit thereafter. -=-=- ''Load, Next List!''

therevillsgames	Apparently my "bug" was that I didnt bring my hands close enough to mimic a binoculars - lol! I did what the tutorial told me... So I've gone a bit further, just havent had the time to play it.

therevillsgames	So the Quest 2 has been sitting in the cupboard since getting the Quest 3 ... until today, managed to get the Eleven Table Tennis game working on both devices in multiplayer mode, it was so much fun! My wife was using the Q3 and I'm on the Q2, I'm so use to the better lenses though - lol! I was thinking of selling the Q2 (256GB one), but now we'll keep it for a while longer.

In other VR news, I bought Synth Riders based off Jay's comment: "In the Beat Saber vs Synth Riders argument, Synth Riders once again came out on top.", and yeah I agree it is better than Beat Saber Also enjoying Assassin's Creed VR, the combat could be a (lot) better, but graphics for a standalone game and locations are cool!

Jayenkai	Is it that much of a difference? I've been playing with my glasses on, and have a micro-fibre wipe by the side of the Quest. It's been ok so far. Mum's also been playing with glasses on. (She's loving Eleven Table Tennis!) Biggest issue for me, is that bloody strap that takes 3 hours to get right, every time you switch between users. therevillsgames	For me, yeah my right eye is getting pretty weak and when I got the Quest 3 I thought I had a defected device as the Quest 2 was clearer... I've tried with my glasses and it's clear in the Q3, but since I've got a big face I've got large glasses and the frame is really pressed against the facial interface of the Quest, so I thought I would try the lens inserts.
