 		I'm the opposite - I enjoyed the movie more than what little I saw of the series.

 		If it's a pile of garbage, it won't take away the ... 14 years (iirc?) of TVGate. I know this isn't part of the TV franchise, and they're going in a different direction.

 		I considered buying the dvd packs for stargate(s) the series last year but I somehow keep thinking about the greys that were going to go exctinct and they were so advanced?!? Humans in 50 years time will probably have that solved on this planet. Before the age of Biotech and Genetics?
